Devil is in the Details in New Medicare Reform
As former Speaker of the House, left-wing member of the WAR Party, Nancy Pelosi once quipped, “we have to pass the bill so you can find out what is in it” in regards to the behemoth known as Obamacare, so does the same hold true for the recent Medicare reform bill signed into law by President Obama. Buried within the pages of the bill, are several disastrous measures that not only literally incentivises doctors to refuse seeing sick patients and instead force them like cattle into regional “health care pods”, the bill penalizes those working past the age of retirement and yet further erodes the doctor patient relationship.Dr. Marilyn M Singleton, who not only practices medicine but is also an attorney, joins Dr. Elaina George to cut through the legalese and decode in plain language the disastrous consequences for both doctors and patients who will need care in the future. As the central government continues to cater to the insurance lobbyist and empowers bureaucratic administrators with god like power over life and death decisions of patients, now more than ever individuals must become aware of the numerous pitfalls contained both within the Affordable Care Act and now the so-called “value” based reform of the Medicare system.
