Wake Up and Engage with Humanity to Regain Freedom

Ms. Tessa Lena, musician and author of the Blog Tessa Fights Robots, joins Dr. George to discuss the systems approach and how it impacts freedom and happiness. They delve into the schizophrenic nature of victimhood as well as the system’s attempt to control and change language, even going as far to rewrite history and deploy censorship tactics. To that end, Tessa encourages us to wake up, stop being a robot, engage with your own humanity and break out of the system.

About Tessa Lena

Our Freedom on the Verge of Destruction

Tessa Lena is a strongly opinionated musician living in New York. Early on, she became a classically trained pianist and singer, born and raised in Moscow. As a teenager, Tessa had the honor of performing her own composition at the Moscow Conservatory. Additionally, she wanted to be a geneticist. Also, as her interests expanded to Tibetan music and language, she headed to Lhasa with a backpack to do a field study in linguistics and ethnomusicology.

Tessa settled in Chicago where she started a band working with her hero Ian McDonald of King Crimson and Foreigner. She also worked with drummer Alan Lake, who has played and recorded with Madonna, Brian Ferry, Julian Lennon, Ministry, Brian Wilson and Sam Moore from Sam And Dave.

Later, Tessa moved to New York. There she started a new band, Tessa Makes Love. In 2016, Tessa started Coalition for Artistic Dignity and organized a conference in Brooklyn dedicated to artistic dignity, social power and corporate responsibility.
