Dr. George starts off the show criticizing the Trans-Pacific Partnership. The TPP hasn’t had enough coverage in the media and most of us, as usual, have no real idea what is in it. The more we find out, the more its starting to look like Obamacare. This contract isn’t about people, its about corporatism and protecting their interests. Under the TPP, if a country’s environmental interests are against the interest on corporations, they hold the right to sue that country, leaving the taxpayers on the hook. 

Digging into the reasons why the government would sign the TPP at all and why they have taken a turn for the worse, Dr. George talks about the political process. The way candidates have to sell favors just to get on the ticket is discussing, these people are more like prostitutes than our leaders. Is there anyway to fix all this?
