Medicare Minefield Diminishes Quality of Health Care
Dr. George introduces Woodrow Wilcox to the show to discuss how to navigate our convoluted healthcare system. Commercial insurance companies are taking advantage off the confusion further enabled by the Affordable Care Act. Mr. Wilcox, the author of “Solving Medicare Problems,” delves deeper into the insurance industry to explain just how the system works. Mr. Wilcox sheds some light on the overly-complex insurance regime that will shed light and lead to more savvy, informed customers.
Whereas, Obamacare was written with direct help by special interests lobbying groups connected to the biggest insurance companies, primarily motivated to enrich their bottom lines, via guaranteed customers, i.e. the Obamacare mandate. In the end, Medicare works against doctors in private practice and the overall quality of patient care.
