MLB’s Top Brass on the Move

This week on The Sporting Edge, Witz and Roz cover the news in the first segment. They discuss Eminem’s new album among a myriad of other things. Baseball is coming back into the spotlight with some winter meeting spookiness AND we’ve got bowl season coming up.

What better way to end the year than a bunch of meaningless bowls and a little College Football Playoff? The slate starts today and takes us all the way to 2018 and it’ll be exciting to watch.

We still had to cover the NFL this week and there’s some very sad news out of Eagles camp as Carson Wentz is officially lost for the season. It looks like it’ll be Nick Foles from here on out.

Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees? Smells like Murderer’s Row to me. Manny Machado might be on the move as well. Could it be to our hometown Chicago White Sox? Possibly…? Stay tuned for more updates next week!

Witz

Witz is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, where he obtained his B.A. in Economics and Business Administration. He is 22 years old and hails from Deerfield, Illinois. He was an all-conference baseball player at Deerfield High School, and was also a member of the school’s football & wrestling teams.

Roz

Roz is from Deerfield Illinois, where he attended Deerfield High School with his co-host “Witz." Roz attended the University of Dayton, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business Administration.

While at the University of Dayton Rozdiversified his resume with multiple positions in the sports and entertainment industry. He has worked in the athletic department for the only private school in the city of Dayton. Off campus, Roz was a production assistant on a feature film Landline. The film was shot in the city of Chicago home of his favorite baseball team the Chicago Cubs. At present, Ethan is pursuing a career in talent management and marketing.
