Brackets Busted we Review the Final Four

Witz and Roz are joined by NCAA Basketball expert, Mike Straface. They break down the first of the two Final Four games, Gonzaga vs. South Carolina. The Gamecocks find themselves as 7-point underdog against the No. 1 seed in the West. The Bulldogs rolled over Cinderella story Xavier, and shot 50% from deep behind the likes of Nigel Williams-Goss. The picks are in and both Roz and Witz are taking the points, and Mike is taking the Zags.

The other final four matchup features No. 3 seed Oregon vs. No. 1 seed North Carolina. UNC hung on by the skin of their teeth against Kentucky and needed a last second shot by Luke Maye to win 75-73. Oregon had a little bit of a different game against the Kansas Jayhawks and stymied Frank Mason III and company for a 74-60 victory. The picks are in and the trio likes UNC -5.

Will Phil Mickelson Win Augusta?

The first Major of the year is upon us. It’s Masters time! Augusta holds a very special place in all of our hearts and is a sign of summertime and happy days once again (at least in the Midwest). Dustin Johnson is the odds-on favorite to win and is currently going off at 5-1. He is followed by Jordan Spieth (7-1) and Rory McIlroy (7-1). Mike talks a little bit about Bubba Watson and how 40-1 might just be the right price to take a shot on the lefty.

Witz brings up another lefty who could make things interesting come Sunday, Phil Mickelson. Phil is teeing off at the ripe age of 46, the same age Jack Nicklaus was when he took home the title at Augusta. Roz gives his picks NOT to bet on and subsequently gets ripped apart by Xander and Mike. This will be quite the week in sports. Stay tuned!
